Pentland House Stables offers true all year round turnout. Our paddocks are enclosed by proven equine friendly fencing with an electric wire round all paddocks to prevent them from leaning on the fence posts.

To ensure the safety of each horse they are split into smaller paddocks to enable mares and geldings to be grazed separately and we can also offer small individual paddocks if required.

In the quest for a worm free environment we have a stringent grass management program which includes weekly clearance of all fields. Regular samples are tested and our worming program carried out accordingly.

All paddocks have equine water troughs or fresh water through the local stream.

Within the summer months riding is allowed in a couple of the paddocks which gives ample room to school, jump and do some interval training, or just plod about.
